But, if you really want to make your garden look beautiful and your neighbors to envy you, then I suggest that you shell out some of your hard earned money and go for purchasing wooden outdoor furniture.
Wooden furniture is generally hand made and handcrafted and is hence rated at a very high price. IN comparison to that, plastic and cheap metal furniture are made via machines and hence does not require personal care and touch while manufacturing them. Patio gardens are for home-grown purposes and often serve as decorations on patios, terraces and balconies. Though they are usually well structured and shapely designed in the form that is artistically eye catching the gardens allow natural conditions inherent in the normal habitat of the plant.
Leafy vegetables are widely grown in patio gardens because they are easy to maintain and can develop to their maximum in a relatively small space. That is why patio gardens are mostly set in city residences to supplement the expense of going to the market. However this is not the only factor that makes them worthwhile, for patio gardens not only receive nutrient-rich solutions in form of hydroponic gardening or well drained soil solution that makes them healthier than on-ground plants, but they also eradicate pests.
The best tried plants in this aerial setting are cucumbers, kales, tomatoes, leguminous plants and lettuce. The main factor to consider is the square space allowed each individual plant.

Hydroponics is the science of growing plants far from their natural habitats in a nutrient and mineral rich solution devoid of the soil matter. This means that the plants grow freely by virtue of the water and mineral components while removing the necessity of tilling and plagues of weed and blights. Under this method soil is shown as merely a firm base for the roots to prop up the plant.
The best plants to grow by hydroponic are fruity crops like oranges as well as legumes, leafy plants and many other crops grown on soil. The plant will do especially well since the root base is injected with the right balance of nutrients as exacted in biology labs where plants are experimented and grown on studied elements of growth.
Hydroponic growth is mostly employed in greenhouse environments leveled at reaching maximum productivity and best quality under the most optimum factors of growth like humidity and controlled temperature in form of ‘grow light’.

Container gardening is type of planting done in portable kind inside earthenware, urns and plastic ware. It can be quite a creative and experimental fare but like any other activity born of dedication it requires constant attention to keep going.
The first priority for plants grown in containers is the amount of light they receive. Since light is the energy giving factor and ingredient of photosynthesis, indoor plants should have an east window open always, where optimum natural light emanates from.
Keep the plant in well watered condition to act as a supplementary source of humidity. Plants have different habitat needs with desert plants for example needing 5% humidity less than jungle vegetation requiring nearly 100% of moisture. Also appropriate each plant its natural air temperature condition. For example desert plants require the least degree of subjection whereas jungle plants withstand high temperatures. The right mixture of soil in the pots should also aim at a natural habitat.

If you want to make your lawn really appealing, you can consider using river stones as they look great at any garden. It is even possible for you to create your own beach by using these stones. To achieve this you will only require a little imagination and creativity in order to transform your garden into a lawn that has special vibrancy and zing. You have to be warned that you do not go out and collect stones from the beach because there are bylaws that prevent anyone from collecting these stones and you may find yourself in trouble if you do not adhere to them.
There are many suppliers of river stones who can supply you with them and these stones might come from beach or dry river bed but they are normally nice stones that will look good in your garden. When these stones get wet, they will look even natural and the best place to put them is around some water features such as ponds.

Ornamental grasses have become very popular. They form a beautiful landscape. They are suitable for dry areas. They are very easy to plant and need little water. They do not require fertilizers and pesticides. They create a stunning serenity if planted on the poolside.
There is no specific method for pruning ornamental grasses.
How to prune ornamental grasses
Step 1- Pruning should be done repeatedly during the growing season. The grass should be inspected thoroughly for any damages or sickness. The dying and dry stems are pruned away. Weeds should also be pruned.
Step 2- Hard pruning should be done at least once a year as this controls the shape and size of the stand. Pruning should be done gently from the top. This is to avoid the destruction of the natural look of the plant.
Step 3- Ornamental grass should be sheared during winter or late fall in cases where top foliage backfires. This should be done before the grass matures and removes its contents.
Pruning is necessary in early spring e.g. for fountain grass, it should be done at least once a year. The long leaves are cut at approximately 6 inches from the ground. They can however be decorated. The cuttings are gathered and put inside a bag or a compost pit.
The shears should be well maintained and sharpened before using. Blunt shears can destroy grass plantation.
